Sleep-in shifts also available - paid at £62 per night

Salary: £11.99 per hour from April 2024

Saxby Lane is a supported living service however there is an opportunity to split this role to cover community outreach within the Crawley area, if you are a driver and have access to a vehicle. Mileage paid at 45p per mile. Shift patterns to be discussed at interview.

 

An exciting opportunity for caring individuals to join this new supported living service and team working with individuals between the ages of 21-30. The role will include supporting individuals with their daily lives and ensuring that their interests are met by taking part in activities inside the home and within the community – for example, accessing day opportunities, activities such as games nights, gym, bowling, swimming etc.

Assistance with independent Life skills – such as cooking, home making, budgeting, attending appointments

About the Role:

At Aspens we work across Kent, Sussex and Surrey; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Saxbys Lane is a Supported Living Service, recently acquired by Aspens and home to adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions.

As a Support Worker at Saxbys Lane, you will work as part of a strong and dedicated team, playing a big role in the support we give those that live there throughout their day to day lives.

Along with your general caring responsibilities (including some personal care and assisting those with physical disabilities or mobility issues) your role will include supporting with many exciting activities such as baking, painting or learning to play an instrument as well as other activities out in the local community.
