'Positive Interventions' seminar: A great success!

The Chief Executive of the Sussex Autistic Community Trust Jean Rose welcomed 160 delegates to the charity's annual seminar 'Positive Interventions' at the Battle Memorial Halls on Thursday 4th March.

Guest speakers, Lorna Wing, Peter Vermeulen and Danusia Latosinski and Richard Mills were all very well recieved by the audience and all gave interesting, thought-provoking and creative presentations.

Jean Rose took the opportunity to announce the charity's official name change from the Sussex Autistic Community Trust to Autism Sussex and to launch the charity's new website. Delegates were able to view and buy a selection of artwork and craft items which had been created by adults with an autistic spectrum condition who attend the charity's services.

Jean Rose thanked seminar sponsors, Diligence Media and Marketing who supplied the conference cotton bags and Water for Work who supplied the bottled water.
