Caring to make a difference for people with autism

Sedlescombe Road

Our property at Sedlescombe Road in St Leonards on Sea is home to our Community Outreach Service and it's from here that we offer a range of support to people with autistic spectrum conditions.

Support can be offered to individuals in a range of living environments and situations, e.g. people who are;
  • Living at home with their parents
  • Living in supported accommodation
  • Living independently in the community
  • Living in residential care
Support and training aims to develop skills and confidence in all aspects of life including;
  • Daily living skills
  • Leisure and social skills
  • Travel
  • Work and employment issues
  • Education and learning
  • Accessing and using community facilities.
Each individual has varying hours of support depending on their specifc needs which range from 7 hours per week to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Support is given to maintain dignity and respect, build confidence and self-esteem, thereby ensuring that the person is empowered to access desired activities and maintain and develop their skills at all times.
