Environment


Sedlescombe road is a small supported living service. It is a house that has been converted into two flats. The ground floor flat accommodates an individual and the top flat can accommodate two individuals sharing.

The accommodation provides a comfortable, spacious, person-centred living environment that is tailored to the needs of the individual.

The supported living flats are situated in the central location of Silverhill, St Leonards-on-Sea, and are a five minute walk to the local shops, parks and bus routes in and out of Hastings. It is a ten minute walk in the other direction to the local train station.

Staff


Sedlescombe Road is staffed via the Community/Domiciliary Team.

The individuals living at Sedlescombe Road are encouraged and supported to participate in structured activities available to them at the Roebuck Centre, Café des Arts and within the community.

Service Users


The tenants have a combination of Asperger syndrome and autism.

Each tenant has their own care package and receives support of between one and twenty four hours a day. Staff support them with life skills, budgeting, and social skills and a structured timetable is in place for each tenant.

This service is designed to further or maintain individuals independent life skills either as a stepping stone to living independently or as a permanent home.
