Part Time Company Secretary

Part-time company secretary – 20 days a year. £4k p.a.

Autism Sussex is a growing £6m charity - supporting children, young people and adults with an autistic spectrum condition. We are looking for an experienced company secretary or clerk to the governors to support our Board of Trustees.  ICSA qualification preferred but not essential. Children/Young People Support Workers, PT Time & Bank Relief Workers

Children/Young People Support Workers, PT Time 16- hours per week Fixed term 6 months/ (review possible)

Salary£13,602 per annum

 

Bank relief workers across county to work in our adult and children services  £8.54per hour week day and -£10.00 per hour w/end


Due to popular demand We are looking to recruit new highly motivated and reliable staff to work with  our children and young people  with Autism aged 0 – 19yrs in the Arundel, Chichester, Bognor, Horsham and Worthing area.

This job requires lone working, supporting Individuals in their homes, resource centres and during community based activities. We also provide short breaks, sitting services, after school/weekend clubs.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable people and the right attitude to work with complex needs in a, positive and planned way.

Essential Criteria: high levels of motivation and reliability, excellent team work and a full driver’s licence.

Desirable Criteria: Experience of working with Autism. NVQ 3 In Childcare and Young People Health and Social Care, however, we are very keen to consider applicants who are willing to learn.

Hours of work include week day afternoons and evenings for our ‘After School Clubs’ and at least one day at the week end. Additional hours during the school holidays

You will receive a high level of induction, supervision and on-going specialist training.

Social Care Worker

Essential Criteria: The successful candidates will be highly motivated,
driven, reliable and fl exible as hours may include week day, weekend and evening shift pattern and hold a full, UK driving licence.
We are looking for enthusiastic people, able to work well within a team as well as independently. Good written and oral communication skills, eagerness to develop skills and sessions and a keenness to participate in physical activities are a must. Must be computer literate.
Experience of working with Individuals with Autism and an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care are desirable, however, we are very keen to consider applicants who are willing to learn. You will receive a high level of induction, supervision and on-going Autism specialist training.

Do you want to make a difference to your community? Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be part of an innovative, fast growing charity? If so, you may be just the person we’re looking for.

 

Autism Sussex is a £5m charity supporting children, young people and adults with autistic spectrum conditions. Due to expansion, we need three new trustees to help us build on our success. We are particularly interested to hear from people with expertise in the law, finance, financial investment or digital media – although people with other areas of expertise are also welcome. Awareness of autism is desirable but not essential.

 

The position requires a time commitment of about 12 days a year. Board meetings are held in Hickstead on Wednesday mornings every other month. The position is unpaid but trustees receive a comprehensive induction, ongoing training and out-of-pocket expenses.
