Autism Sussex website aims to be as accessible as possible and complies with recognised web standards and UK Government guidelines regarding accessibility.

Standards


The site adheres to the WAI content guidelines. The pages are built using valid and wherever possible semantic XHTML, CSS and Javascript are then applied to add design and behaviour.

Design


For optimal viewing, it is recommended that you use a browser with CSS2 support, such as Internet Explorer 8 (or higher), or Mozilla Firefox.


This site uses relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers. The recommended "text size" for viewing this site in a visual browser is medium or 100%. You can also use the + icons at the top of the page to increase, decrease and reset the text on all pages.

Browsers & Resolution


If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets, the content of each page will still be readable.

Accessibility and PDF documents


You should be able to use the free Acrobat reader to view the PDF files on the our website. However, Adobe have developed an online conversion tool to allow users to view PDF documents as HTML or plain ASCII text.
