The Community Outreach Service provides a wide range of support to adults with Autism Spectrum Conditions living in the East/West Sussex and the Brighton & Hove area. This includes support in the individuals’home and in a residential or supported living environment.
Support and training aims to develop skills and confidence in all aspects of life, including daily living skills, leisure and social skills, travel, employment, education and accessing community services.
Each individual has varying hours of support depending on an assessment of need. Support can be provided from 4 hours per week to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Support is given to maintain dignity and respect, build confidence and self-esteem, ensuring that the person is empowered to access a wide range of desired activities. The assessment process also identifies the level of support required to maintain and develop their skills and lead as fulfilling and independent life as possible.
